1. Information We Handle
AutoReply is designed to collect as little information as possible. Depending on how you configure and use the app, it may handle the following information on your device:
- Notification content. Android may make notification text, sender or conversation labels, and reply actions available to AutoReply so the app can determine whether one of your rules matches.
- Rule configuration. Triggers, selected conversations, reply text, schedules, and related settings that you create.
- Activity history. Local records showing whether an automatic reply was sent, skipped, or failed, along with limited diagnostic context.
AutoReply does not require you to create an account for the local workflow described above.
2. How We Use Information
The information handled by AutoReply is used to operate the features you request, including matching notifications against your rules, sending a configured reply when supported, displaying activity history, and helping you diagnose configuration or compatibility problems.
3. Data Storage
Your rules and local activity history are designed to be stored on your device. AutoReply does not maintain a cloud copy of your message content for the privacy-first workflow described on this site. If your Android device or backup service backs up application data, those backups are governed by your device settings and the applicable backup provider's terms.
4. Android Permissions and Notification Access
AutoReply may request Android notification access because this is necessary to detect supported incoming message notifications and access reply actions exposed by compatible messaging apps. You can revoke this access at any time from Android system settings. If access is revoked, automatic reply functionality may stop working.
5. Sharing of Information
We do not sell your personal information or message content. AutoReply is designed so that notification matching and rule execution happen locally. We may disclose information only where required by law or where you deliberately send information to us, such as when you contact support.
6. Third-Party Services
AutoReply runs on Android and may be distributed through Google Play. Google and the messaging applications you use operate under their own privacy policies and terms. AutoReply cannot control how those third-party services handle information.
7. Your Choices
- You can disable or delete rules at any time.
- You can clear local activity history from the app where the feature is available.
- You can revoke notification access through Android settings.
- You can uninstall AutoReply to remove application data stored locally, subject to your device and backup settings.
8. Children's Privacy
AutoReply is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe information from a child has been provided to us through support or another direct contact channel, please contact us.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy as AutoReply evolves. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above. Material changes may also be communicated through the app or our website where appropriate.
10. Contact Us
